The C4 WRC is based on the road-going Citroën C4, but it is extensively modified for rallying. It features a lightweight chassis, advanced aerodynamics, and a powerful turbocharged engine. The C4 WRC is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine, producing around 300 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a sequential gearbox for rapid gear changes. The Citroën C4 WRC enjoyed considerable success in the World Rally Championship. It won the manufacturers’ championship in 2008, 2009, and 2010, with drivers such as Sébastien Loeb and Dani Sordo achieving numerous victories behind the wheel of the car.
