The X-wing Starfighter first hit the screens in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope in 1977. Very quickly starting there on The X-wing was massively well known among fans and the contender is currently one of the most unmistakable spaceships ever. It’s somewhat smooth, somewhat harsh and hits an even center point between science fiction and an advanced warrior fly. The s-foils overlay open when in assault position making that symbol “X” shape and the rest is history.
