Unlike Sheikah Towers, Skyview Towers require a person to be shot into the Sky with a Purah Pad and a Paraglider in order to scan the environment and return safely. After Link and Zelda disappear Beneath Hyrule Castle, Purah has to stop her work on surveying the land. Once Link returns and speaks to Purah at Lookout Landing, Purah activates the Skyview Towers and gives him a Paraglider while tasking him with the mission of traveling to all of them and scanning both the Sky and Surface. Once Link enters a Skyview Tower’s cannon and scans an area, both the Maps of the Sky and Surface will update, providing him with detailed location information.
