Link encounters them on his quest to save his sister and restore peace to the world. In “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” Koroks play a significant role. Instead of being characters in the traditional sense, they hide throughout the expansive open world of Hyrule. When Link discovers a hidden Korok, the creature rewards him with a Korok Seed. These seeds can be exchanged for inventory expansion slots, allowing Link to carry more weapons, shields, and bows.
