The VT-4 is equipped with a 125mm smoothbore gun, capable of firing various types of ammunition, including armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot (APFSDS) rounds and high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds. The tank also features a secondary 7.62mm machine gun for anti-infantry and close-range defense. The tank’s protection is enhanced by composite armor and reactive armor modules to increase its survivability against enemy threats.
